Strings Tips

I just watched couples video from youtube while looking inspiration for my thesis. It's a sound sample from different kind of violin. There are different kind of violin, for example from the video I watched, is a gypsy violin, italian violin, czech violin, german, french, gliga viola, handmade american violin or chestnut violin. It's really interesting to know that one piece can sound so different with another kind of a violin and the same player. And do you know that violin also have their own behavior? Some violins misbehave in changing weather conditions. Pegs loosen and strings go out of tune. Some violins have a tendency to lose their vibrancy in dry conditions like during winter months. Just like people, some people allergic with cold weather, and so does violin. They have their own personalities. So, treat your violin better ;)
